DJI SDR Transmission 2
DCI 4K/60fps 10-bit HDR video over a 4km link with latency as low as 35ms, the single-transceiver option for a production that already owns one unit and needs a second, or wants to build a system around more than a matched pair. Switchable between transmitter and receiver on the same unit, so one purchase covers either role depending on what a shoot needs that day.
What It's For
A single transceiver switches between transmitter and receiver mode, so one unit added to an existing SDR Transmission 2 Combo expands a two-point link into a multi-monitor setup without buying a second full combo. Auto Channel 2.0 manages frequency selection automatically where several units are running on the same site, relevant the moment a production scales past one transmitter and one receiver. PTP camera control and CEC control for Sony cameras work the same as the full combo, adjusting camera settings from wherever this unit is operating.
Compatibility
Powers directly from the DJI RS 5, RS 4 Pro, RS 4, RS 3 Pro, Ronin 2 and Master Wheels, useful for a gimbal operator who doesn't want a separate battery for the transmission unit. Also pairs with Osmo Action and Osmo Pocket devices over USB-C. The expansion plate (SDI, extra HDMI and USB-C ports, ARRI/RED metadata support) is sold separately rather than included with this unit.

Do I need to buy the Combo, or can I just buy single units?
Either works. The Combo suits a first purchase since it includes a matched transmitter and receiver pair in one box; a single unit suits adding capacity to a system that already has at least one pair.
Can two single units replace a Combo?
Yes, two of this single-unit product give the same hardware as the Combo, since every unit is an identical, switchable transceiver.
Does this come with the expansion plate?
No, the expansion plate's SDI and extra ports are sold separately from both the single unit and the Combo.
Can it run without NP-F batteries?
Yes, USB-C PD input (15V/9V, 3A) powers it directly, and it also draws power straight from a compatible DJI gimbal, RS 5, RS 4 Pro, RS 4, RS 3 Pro, Ronin 2 or Master Wheels, with no separate battery needed on that rig.
Is this a drone transmission system?
No. SDR Transmission 2 is DJI's camera and gimbal video transmission system, a separate product line from the O3/O4 transmission used on DJI's drones.
