DJI SDR Transmission 2 Gimbal Control Cable (USB-C to 4-Pin)
A 50cm cable connecting the SDR Transmission 2 Transceiver to DJI Master Wheels and a Ronin 2 gimbal, letting an operator run Master Wheels control from wherever the transceiver's receiver is positioned rather than standing at the gimbal itself. The gimbal powers the transceiver through the same connection, one less battery to manage on a Ronin 2 rig that's already carrying a camera, lens and wheels controller.
What It's For
Master Wheels control the Ronin 2 directly once this cable links the transceiver into the system, and if a compatible RS-series gimbal is also connected to the transceiver on the transmitting end, Master Wheels can control that gimbal too. A camera connected to the gimbal gets remote start and stop recording from the Master Wheels, provided the gimbal's own Multi-Camera control cable is also fitted. Power draws from the gimbal to the transceiver over this same cable, removing the need for a separate battery on that unit.
Compatibility
Confirmed for DJI Master Wheels and the Ronin 2 specifically. This is a different cable from the SDR Transmission 2 Gimbal Control Cable (USB-C to CAN), which connects the transceiver directly to an RS 4 Pro, RS 4 or RS 3 Pro instead of routing through Master Wheels, DJI's own documentation states the two aren't interchangeable. Checking which control path a production is actually running, Master Wheels and Ronin 2, or a direct RS-series connection, before ordering avoids the wrong cable turning up on set.
