Emlid Reach M2 RTK / PPK System
The Emlid Reach M2 is a compact, multi-band GNSS module designed for high-precision UAV mapping and navigation. It supports both Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) and Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) positioning, delivering centimeter-level accuracy even with fewer Ground Control Points (GCPs).
Key Features:
Multi-Band GNSS Support: Tracks GPS/QZSS L1C/A, L2C; GLONASS L1OF, L2OF; BeiDou B1I, B2I; and Galileo E1-B/C, E5b signals, ensuring robust and accurate positioning.
Camera Synchronization: Connects directly to a camera's hot shoe port to log the exact time and location of each photo with sub-microsecond precision, reducing the need for GCPs.
Compact and Lightweight: Measuring 56.4 x 45.3 x 14.6 mm and weighing just 35 g, the Reach M2 is suitable for integration into various UAV platforms.
Connectivity Options: Supports Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0/2.1 EDR, USB, UART, and Event ports. An external LoRa radio module (sold separately) enables correction data reception over distances up to 8 km.
Data Logging and Storage: Records RINEX logs with event markers at up to 10 Hz, storing data on 16 GB of internal memory for post-processing.
Power Requirements: Operates on 4.75 – 5.5 V via USB or JST-GH connectors, with typical power consumption at 300 mA.
