The Mini 3 falls into this category, so you will need both before flying outdoors. The sub-250g weight still carries an advantage: it places the Mini 3 in the A1 category, permitting flight closer to people than heavier drones allow, which is a large part of why the Mini range suits travellers and content creators. Note that fitting the higher-capacity Battery Plus takes the aircraft over 250g, which removes the A1 near-people privilege, though registration is required either way.
