Is the Matrice 400 compatible with my existing Matrice 350 RTK payloads?
Most Zenmuse payloads are compatible, but the Matrice 400 supports more simultaneous payloads and offers better integration for combined workflows such as LiDAR plus RGB capture. Speak to our team to confirm compatibility with your specific setup.
How long does the battery take to charge?
The DJI Matrice 400 uses the TB100/TB100C Intelligent Flight Battery, a high capacity 20,254mAh pack rated for around 400 charge cycles. Paired with the BS100 Intelligent Battery Station, it recharges from 0% to 100% in around 45 minutes on a 220V supply in Fast Charging Mode, or 70 minutes on 110V. A quieter Silent Mode is also available, taking around 110 minutes on either voltage. The BS100 can charge up to 3 TB100 batteries in sequence, keeping a fleet mission ready with minimal downtime between flights. The Matrice 400 also supports hot swapping, with an internal capacitor keeping the aircraft powered for up to 45 seconds during a battery change, so a swap can be completed without a full shutdown.
Can the Matrice 400 operate in poor weather?
Yes, it carries an IP55 weather resistance rating and operates in temperatures from -20°C to 50°C.
