Matrice 4E, Precision Mapping and Surveying
The wide angle camera uses a 4/3 inch CMOS mechanical shutter at 20MP effective pixels, paired with a medium telephoto camera at 1/1.3 inch CMOS, 48MP. 5 directional oblique capture speeds up photogrammetry workflows, and factory calibrated cameras with distortion correction lift mapping efficiency by up to 40% over previous DJI enterprise models. Flight time reaches 49 minutes, suited to land surveying, construction site mapping, topographic surveys, and mining.
Matrice 4T, Thermal Inspection and Public Safety
Visible, thermal, and telephoto sensors run simultaneously on one airframe. Hybrid zoom reaches 112x, resolving detail from up to 250m away, and an integrated laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1,800m directly from the controller. Thermal imaging holds accuracy from minus 20°C to 550°C, within ±2°C, and AI powered detection covers people, vehicles, and boats, alongside full colour night vision up to 100m. Suited to firefighting and emergency response, search and rescue, and powerline and infrastructure inspection.
Matrice 4D and 4TD, Automated Operations with DJI Dock 3
Built specifically to pair with DJI Dock 3, the Matrice 4D and 4TD extend the Matrice 4 Series into fully automated, remote operations, useful for organisations running repeat missions without a pilot on site each time. Both carry an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. The Matrice 4D carries wide angle, medium tele, and tele cameras plus a laser rangefinder, built for high precision mapping and detailed surface inspection. The Matrice 4TD adds an infrared thermal camera and NIR auxiliary light, suited to infrastructure inspection, emergency response, and public safety. Flight time reaches 47 minutes on the 4D and 54 minutes on the 4TD, with reliable operation from minus 30°C to 50°C and in winds up to 12 m/s when paired with Dock 3. Onboard relay and Smart Track features support automated, intelligent missions through DJI FlightHub 2.
